If you have even half of what ShoeMoney, you should be making a good living by now. How many does ShoeMoney have? The exact figures are unknown, but he has given us a few clues. In February 2006, ShoeMoney posted about service frustrations with GoDaddy.com.
He had over 1,500 domains on that post. Today, he posted his reviews of the GoDaddy service but now has over 10,000 domains!
A quick calculation shows that ShoeMoney registered approximately 101 new domains per day during this period. That’s one hardworking domain owner! Guess we’ll never know how many ShoeMoney really owns! Does anybody out there care to share how many domains they own?

Niche Maketing 101 is a blog maintained by Joan. But here’s the problem, none of the articles are written by Joan. The articles are all reposted materials with attributions to the corresponding authors. Weird, right? Let’s not debate whether this is ethical and end up overlooking a gift-horse in the mouth. We will get to the tips on costs in a later article, but are there any discernable advantages to registering new domains? What should you check out before committing? Here are 5 tips to help you with the decision! Feel free to join the discussion too! (more…)

The Internet Cashflow Guy had been posting about his process of coming up with an idea for a niche website. The execution was shrouded in secrecy but today finally lifted the covers of his first niche website Orchid Care Info.
The site was beautifully designed and color-matched to the petals, leaves and stems of an orchid. Asthetically, it was a very pleasing tour. The subject matter was really, REALLY focused. I wondered what was the rationale behind the choice. Search engine promotion would be (more…)

Eric Scalf of MindBlog, a blog that seeks to help amateur bloggers, has decided to step into the world of creating a single page on a particular subject. The goal is to monetize this one page with a blend of Amazon affiliate links, Chitika and Adsense. His first attempt on halogen lamps is worth a peek.
In the long run, using a dedicated domain name as opposed to running the page off Eric’s personal blog domain, fyreplace.com, should provide benefits from an SEO perspective. The tradeoff would be additional costs to register / host the domain. An upcoming post will cover some tips on this aspect of creating a single page SEO.
